The Boy

The game tells the story of a boy waking up to a random opening within a strange forest, completely unaware of where he is. The boy tries to remember how he ended up here and why he is here in the first place by observing his surroundings. He explores deeper, venturing through a mine which links up to an old abandoned and run down village. Walking forward, he comes to the center of a village, finding a mutilated corpse hanging. A strange feeling overcomes the boy, but he continues to explore the ruins of this old and forgotten village. 

The boy finds a house that wasn’t as destroyed as others as it was somewhat well kept. The boy tries to go in but to no avail as the place has been locked up tight and with no way in. He then comes across another house and goes in. As he is exploring this place, he finds a key which seems oddly familiar. The boy is about to leave the house when suddenly, he hears a loud bang and once he looks out into the opening of the house, he sees that corpse rising and looking around, out of fear, he moves back and falls making a loud noise. He looks back to find the corpse missing, he hides and starts hearing loud noises slamming through the door. The noise starts creeping up to him until this corpse stops and is hovering over where he hides. The entity is fast to move away and ignore the sound it just heard. Slowly coming out of cover, the boy realizes his first encounter with this entity, was luck and that he will need to tread carefully. 

The boy must now uncover what happened to this place and must discover how to stop it.
